Filamentöse Pilze besitzen die Eigenschaft, Proteinmengen im g/L-Maßstab zu sekretieren. Aufgrund ihrer einfachen Handhabung stellen sie daher interessante Organismen für die biotechnologische Produktion von Proteinen dar. In dieser Arbeit wurde der rote Brotschimmel Neurospora crassa als Produktionswirt für heterologe Proteine verwendet. Hierbei handelt es sich um einen etablierten Modellorganismus, weswegen viele molekulare Werkzeuge für seine gentechnische Manipulation zur Verfügung stehen und somit die Produktion auf einfache Art und Weise erreicht werden kann.
