Im Rahmen der Wende zur klimaneutralen Mobilität gewinnt der Einsatz von Batteriesystemen in elektrischen Fahrzeugen zunehmend an Bedeutung. Dabei hat das Thermomanagement von Lithium-Ionen-Zellen entscheidenden Einfluss auf Leistung, Reichweite und Sicherheit. Zur Umsetzung des Batteriethermomanagementsystems (BTMS) sind in der Wissenschaft und Serienanwendung verschiedene Konzepte zu finden. Für die Methodik zur Auslegung des BTMS sind zudem einzelne Ansätze in der Wissenschaft entwickelt worden. Es fehlt jedoch an einem umfassenden Prozess, der diese Ansätze verbindet und somit eine quantifizierbare Entscheidung zwischen den Konzepten ermöglicht.
