Mejora continua de la calidad de la educación superior

It is important to make tools that guarantee educational quality, specifically quality in higher education, as this will help to continuously improve the service provided. Therefore, the aim of this research is to construct a valid and reliable instrument that assesses the degree of satisfaction that can be found in both students and teaching staff in higher education. To this end, a process of validation of the instrument will be carried out, starting in its theoretical construction phase. The sample comprises a total of 458 higher education students and 109 teachers at the University of Aveiro. With the data obtained, an exploratory analysis will be carried out in order to determine the number of factors and the items that can be combined in each one. Once the results have been obtained, we will be able to see the main factors intowhich the questionnaire will be divided, where we will develop the exploratory factor analysis and the influence of each variable on them. All of this will help us to reflect on the reliability and validity of the instrument analysed in this study. As a future line of research, a confirmatory factor analysis could be carried out, based on structuralequation models or structural covariance analysis. Es importante realizar herramientas que garanticen la calidad educativa, concretamente la calidad en la educación superior, pues eso ayudará a la mejora continua en el servicio prestado. Así pues, el objetivo de esta investigación es construir un instrumento válido y confiable que evalúe el grado de satisfacción que podemos encontrar tanto en el alumnado como en el profesorado de educación superior. Para ello, se realizará un proceso de validación del instrumento, que se inicia en su fase de construcción teórica. La muestra cuenta con un total de 458 estudiantes de enseñanza superior y 109 profesores de la Universidad de Aveiro. Con los datos obtenidos, se realizará un análisis exploratorio para poder determinar el número de factores y los elementos que pueden combinarse en cada uno. Una vez obtenido los resultados, podremos ver en los factores principales en que se dividirá el cuestionario, donde desarrollaremos el análisis factorial exploratorio y la influencia de cada variable en ellos. Todo ello, nos servirá para reflexionar sobre la confiabilidad y validez del instrumento que se analiza en este estudio. Como futura línea de investigación, se podría realizar un análisis factorial confirmatorio, basado en modelos de ecuaciones estructurales o análisis de covarianza estructural
