Temperament Patterns and Vulnerability to Anxiety and Depression in Children with Migraine: A Study Model

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the temperament and anxious-depressive disorders in young patients suffering from migraine. With a view to ascertain whether the models in the literature relating to a temperamental predisposition and whether such disorders are also applicable to such cases. In particular, analytical methods were adopted to undertake a detailed assessment of the role of \u201cattention\u201d as a cognitive domain of temperament. Much discussed in literature with regard to its correlation with the other emotional temperament domains and the various psychopathological traits. Our results point to a causal relationship between temperament and psychopathological domains.
