This article aims to provide the analysis of drone technology and its use in today’s era. The main focus is on how this new technology is a threat to one and foremost fundamental right i.e. Right to Privacy under Article 21 of the Constitution of India in the light of Puttuswamy’s Judgment. In 2020, Drone Unmanned Aircraft System Rules, 2020 was framed and whether such rules compatible to deal with the issue of privacy or some other laws like Data Protection Bill is required to deal with the same.
