Curatorial note from Digital Pedagogy in the Humanities: This artifact has students collectively construct an annotated bibliography using materials about digital divides published on a research group’s Web site. This assignment teaches library database research as students locate and retrieve scholarly books and articles, read them, and create summary annotations relative to course discussion on digital divides. This assignment is particularly appropriate for first-year university students learning to use library research databases and scholarly citation styles.
