The purpose of this paper is three-fold: (1) to review the definitions and methodologies cased in the study of aggression; (2) to review research on aggression in children; and (3) identify recommendations for reducing aggression. This paper is motivated largely by fears regarding the influence of aggression on children. Increases in aggression among children may create larger social problems in the future
