Born from the failure of early educational learning theories to address the needs of students in the 21st century, blended learning allows educators the freedom to adapt and modify their classroom environment as to best fit student need. In a similar vein, project based learning uses authentic, real-world problems as to drive classroom practice. Taken as a whole blended and project based learning addresses a new skillset; critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity.
