The issue of digital equity has become a concern among urban public schools. The lack of technology integration in urban classrooms is creating a digital divide that can consequently affect students\u27 academic success with the implementation of Common Core State Standards and computerized assessments. The question of how digital equity can be accomplished through technology integration in order to narrow the digital divide is addressed in this project. Data sources for this thesis project included surveys conducted by major research centers such as NTIA, the Pew Research Center, and NCES.
