The story behind this tune is about a certain 'Saza' chief named Kangawo who wore as a charm a headband. He would wear it all day and at night hang it up on the wall of his hut. One night the headband was stolen and he soon died without his protective charm. Six drummers play these 15 drums. Four the main set of 12 drums, and two others the three bass drums.
