The core principles for effective functioning of political institutions of a transitional society: between liberal and illiberal democracy

The basic institutions of liberal democracy and noted that their formation is determined by the main issues of the liberal democratic discourse. Зазначено, що важливим принципом для формування ліберальної демократії є система базових політичних інститутів, які здатні уможливити оптимальне втілення ліберально-демократичних стандартів у політичні системи транзитивних країн. Вирішальним критерієм ліберальної демократії є не «адаптування» політичних інститутів до неї, а те, чи спроможні вони знайти і застосувати адекватні щодо національних традицій і культури способи акумулювання і вираження різноманіття інтересів та прагнень перехідного суспільства
