This article analyzes the legislative activities of the EU institutions, the role of the EU Council, the European Parliament and the Commission, which form the socalled «institutional triangle» in this activity, and also their relationships. Examined correlation of the concepts «legislative» and «law-making process» in the EU, which allowed clearly formulate meaning of «law-making process» in the EU. One of the main tasks of the research was to reveal the manifestation of supranational law-making of institutions of the European Union.
