International audienceThis work is focused on the study of the pre-ionization mechanisms in Dielectric Barrier Discharges (DBD) at atmospheric pressure in N2-O2 mixtures leading to a homogeneous Townsend discharge. The seed electrons can originate from the surfaces or from the gas bulk.
