Étude des opportunités de valorisation des producteurs engagés en agroécologie dans le Béarn

Starting from an observation of a rise in the use of the term "agroecology" and in parallel of a competition between producers in short circuit more and more important.This study focuses on the opportunities of valorization of the agroecological practices of producers marketing in short circuits in the Bearn region. Through interviews with producers committed to agroecology, a first online survey of producers in Bearn and a second survey of consumers of « Associations pour le Maintien de l’Agriculture Paysanne » (AMAP) in Bearn, it highlights strategies to be applied in order to improve promotion of products. The study of the survey results makes it possible to define three strategies adapted to the expectations of producers and consumers: (i) a communication strategy focused on the term "agroecology", the arguments of the local and the way of producing illustrated by concrete practices, the organization of open doors of the farms and the use of social networks, (ii) an economic strategy oriented on facilitating access to aids and a Low Carbon label supporting local and ethical projects, and (iii) a technical and social support strategy focused on the diversification of productions and trainings on comfort and work organization.Partant d’un constat d’une montée en puissance de l’utilisation du terme « agroécologie » et en parallèle d’une concurrence entre producteurs en circuit courts de plus en plus importante. Ce mémoire s’attache à l’étude des opportunités de valorisation des pratiques agroécologiques des producteurs commercialisant en circuits courts dans le Béarn. Par le biais d’entretiens auprès des producteurs engagés en agroécologie, d’une première enquête en ligne auprès des producteurs du Béarn et d’une seconde auprès des consommateurs des Associations pour le Maintien de l’Agriculture Paysanne (AMAP) béarnaises, il met en avant des stratégies à appliquer afin d’améliorer la valorisation des pratiques et produits. L’étude des résultats d’enquête permet de définir trois stratégies adaptées aux attentes des producteurs et consommateurs : (i) une stratégie de communication axée sur le terme « agroécologie », les arguments du local et de la façon de produire illustrée par des pratiques concrètes, l’organisation de portes ouvertes des fermes et l’utilisation des réseaux sociaux, (ii) une stratégie économique orientée sur une facilitation d’accès aux aides et un label Bas Carbone soutenant des projets locaux et éthiques et (iii) une stratégie d’accompagnement technique et social axée sur la diversification des productions et des formations sur le confort et l’organisation du travail
