The electric machines of various electric drives and wind power systems are commonly connected to the main grid via a voltage source converter, which is combined by two back-to-back converters at the machine side and grid side with dc-link in the middle. The dc-link voltage is controlled via the grid side converter. The paper introduces the investigation results in the selection of structure and parameters of proportional integral (PI) regulator with anti-windup for the control of DC voltage of voltage source converter.
