Evaluating the Current Status of Water Quality in Phu Loc River, Danang City and Prosposing Solutions for Improvement

The article presents the results of a survey evaluating the current status of water environment in Phu Loc river, Danang city. The results show that the quality of the river water is being seriously polluted, especially the parameters pH, COD, NH4+, T-N, and T-P, which have exceeded the permitted standards many times. The study also points out a number of causes accounting for the water pollution: The failure of the technical infrastructure for water drainage to catch up with the speed of regional economic development; limited awareness of the public, the ineffective management and quality control system of waste sources..., thereby proposing a number of appropriate technical and management solutions to reduce sources of pollution, improve the water quality of Phu Loc river, facilitating the attraction of tourists, enhancing the quality of the living environment in the region, bringing economic benefits and sustainable development to this area
