Studi Evaluasi Kapasitas Penampang Sungai Kening Kabupaten Bojonegoro dengan Menggunakan Metode HEC-RAS

The problem of flooding that occurs in each region there are various factors, one of which is due to very high rainfall which results in inadequate cross sectioncapacity of the river which can cause runoff. From the identification of problemsin the Kening River that is by minimizing flooding one of them is by normalizing thecross section of the river when the discharge rises the water does not run off withthe help of HEC-RAS Software to modeling application to find out whether or notthe cross section of the river is overflowing and not overflowed in the Kening river.In the calculation of design flood discharge from 10-year rain stations Laju andstations data using the Nakayasu HSS Method with a 10-year return period of252.95 m3 / sec. Based on the results of running using the HEC-RAS Software byentering the data of the Long Section and Cross Section of the existing cross sectionalmost all of them run off so that it needs to be re-planned dimensions and makeflood control buildings that is by making embankments that are along the foreheadwhich has a 3m wide beam and embankment height of 0.8 m. In the calculation ofthe excavation plan with a total volume of 145850,62 m3 and an urugan volume of33417,67 m3 so that it can make effectiveness in overcoming the problems in theKening River to avoid flooding every year
