Abstract

Idioms are widely used by Chinese people in  everyday life, for they are composed of simple and easy-to-use words and characterized by rich and diverse capability to express ideas. However, idioms remain obstacles for Vietnamese students learning the Chinese language: they often misuse idioms, or even avoid using idioms.
