Designing Procedure and Toolkit to Evaluate Students' Problem-solving Competency in Studying Physics

The objective of present educational innovation is students' competence-based teaching. Therefore, it is necessary for teachers to construct and organize teaching activities oriented to developing students' competence. Physics is a natural science, so its knowledge is associated with practice. If we apply the teaching method of solving problems successfully, we will have a contribution to developing students' competence, enabling them to discover and solve problems in studying and apply what they have learnt to solve their real life problems. However, the materials for improving high school teachers haven't systematically mentioned students' problem-solving competence in teaching physics, especially in presenting components and the way of evaluating students' problem-solving competence.
