Preserving the Beliefs of Da Nang Coastal Residents in the Process of Urbanization

Urbanization is the inevitable process of the implementation of industrialization - modernization of the country in Vietnam. As one of the local with the most rapid and powerful urbanization speed in the country, Danang's appearance is constantly renewed, leading to the transformation of the traditional cultural values, including belief of coastal residents which is expressed in many different aspects. This article focuses on preserving the beliefs of Danang coastal residents, including all of the gains and existing drawbacks. Thereby the author proposes some measures for preserving and promoting the values of culture and beliefs of coastal residents in the process of urbanization in Danang nowadays
