– The shrinkage of concrete on the building takes place in a long process and is influenced by various factors. According to some authors [7], [8], the main factors affecting the shrinkage are water/cement ratio (W/C ratio), type of cement, concrete aggregate components, dimensions of structure (especially the area/volume ratio of the structure), climatic conditions where the building exists. The paper presents the results of empirical study on the measurement of shrinkage of concrete under Gia Lai climate condition. The shrinkage test specimens are prepared in three groups (Normal concrete) with B25 class, with water / cement ratio (W/C) of 0.40, 0.45, 0.50, respectively.
