In this paper, we investigate a calculating model of WDM Milimeter-Wave (MMW) Radio-over-Fiber Communication System (WDM MMW/RoF) with long distance using EDFA located at different positions on the link and Coherent receiver for enhancing the system's sensitivity. We then determine the SNR, BER of this system. After that, algorithm chart is built to calculate and determine maximum number of optical channels corresponding to each different position of EDFA on the link when we change channel power launched to the fiber, EDFA gain, oscillator power of coherent receiver so that system quality satisfies the given requirements.
