Borrowed Words From the English Language in Russian Media

Language, as a means of social communication, is always associated with the history, tradition and culture of the nation. The changes of society from the process of industrialization and modernization always affect languages. This process has an indirect relationship with any language and affects the language system. The percentage of borrowed words in Russian media is very high and a large number of these words are from the English language. The topic \"Borrowed words in Russian media from English language\" has practical meaning both in theory and practice. In this article, we have conducted a survey on the understanding level of students of Russian department, University of Foreign Language Studies - University of Danang about this topic. Thereby we have some comments on the advantages and disadvantages of students when they encounter foreign words while learning Russian at college
