Stroke often causes disability in the patients who survive. This condition may affect the quality of life. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between disability and the quality of life in stroke patients at Poly Neurology Kraton Hospital of Pekalongan. This study used the Modified Rankin Scale to measure body function (disability) and the short version of the Stroke-Specific Quality of Life Scale (SS-QOL-12) to measure the quality of life. This cross-sectional study used convenience sampling to recruit 78 respondents. Simple linear regression was used to analyse the data.
