Abstract

Sensibilità in the Zibaldone by Giacomo Leopardi holds a crucial position in the author’s reflection. Sensibilità is tightly and deeply connected to piacere, one of the pillars of Leopardi’s Zibaldone and of the poet’s thought. Through the lenses of the sophisticated analysis of emotions and sensations put forth by the phenomenological reflection, the work offers a contributions to a proper understading of Leopardi’s reflection on the body and the emotions.Doctor of Philosoph
