Results of Implementing the Cultivating Model of Psychological Counseling Skills for Head Teachers at Secondary Schools in Kien Giang Province

- The article mentions the results of implementing the model and the measures to cultivate psychological counseling skills for head teachers at secondary schools in Kien Giang province. 182 homeroom teachers from 5 middle schools in Kien Giang province participated in the training course to cultivate psychological counseling skills for students. The results show that teachers\' psychological counseling skills have changed significantly in a positive direction. Particularly, the perception side has a more positive change than the skill execution side. This shows that models and measures to develop psychological counseling skills for head teachers at secondary schools in Kien Giang province are proposed and put into practice to be effective and feasible. This is the basis for replicating the model for other localities of Kien Giang province
