Challenges in teaching and learning English for specific purposes (ESP) in Vietnamese universities have attracted much attention and have been mentioned in a variety of scientific papers as well as in national and local newspapers. Teachers and students of Danang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy (DUMTP) are facing the same problem. This paper is to investigate DUMTP nursing students' drawbacks in their learning English speaking skills.
