Notes on the distribution and the phenology of Erasmoneura vulnerata (Fitch) (Homoptera: Cicadellidae) in North-eastern Italy

The nearctic leafhopper Erasmoneura vulnerata (Fitch) was recorded for the first time on grapes in Europe (Italy, Veneto region) in 2004. Since then, it has been detected in four regions in North-eastern Italy. The phenology of this pest in North-eastern Italy was investigated in three subsequent years on unsprayed Vitis labrusca vines. Overwintered adults colonised vines in spring.
