Efektivitas Salep Ekstrak Daun Pepaya (Carica Papaya) Terhadap Luka Bakar Terkontaminasi

Burns are damage or loss of tissue caused by contact with heat sources such as flames in the body (flame), licks to the body (flash), exposed to hot water (scald), touched by hot objects (hot contact), due to electric shock, due to materials -chemicals, and sunburn This research is an experimental laboratory conducted at the Laboratory of Pharmacology and Anatomical Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The animals used in this study were 27 mice (Mus musculus), which were divided into 3 groups, namely a negative control group (placebo ointment), a positive group (silver sulfadiazine ointment), and papaya leaf extract ointment to determine the effect of papaya leaf extract (Carica Papaya) on the surface area of burns on the backs of mice (Mus Musculus) infected with Staphylococcus aureus. To determine the level of collagen density formed in burns of mice (Mus Musculus) infected with Staphylococcus aureus. Papaya leaf extract (Carica Papaya) An alternative product of papaya leaf extract ointment was found which can be used as a natural-based burn medicine and product patent.
