Hubungan Kontrol Diri Dan Konsep Diri Dengan Perilaku Konsumtif Belanja Di E-commerce Pada Mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta

Consumptive behavior is the act or behavior of individuals in making excessive purchases that are not based on needs but only based on desires. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between self-control and self-concept with consumptive behavior in students of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta who do online shopping using e-commerce. This study uses quantitative methods, the number of samples in this study is 105 students. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling technique. The data collection tool in this study used a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that there is a very significant relationship between self-control and self-concept with consumptive behavior in students who do shopping in e-commerce. The statistical test results show that the regression model is sig 0.000 (sig < 0.05) with F = 54, 737. Then based on the regression test obtained Standardized Coefficients Beta = -0.532 and sig 0.004 <0.05, indicating that there is a significant negative relationship between self-control and consumptive behavior in students who do online shopping in e-commerce.
