Pengaruh Edukasi Gizi Dengan Media Booklet Terhadap Pengetahuan Pesan Gizi Seimbang Remaja Putri Di Mas Wathoniyah Islamiyah Kabupaten Kebumen

Background: Nutrition education for adolescents is an alternative to increase nutritional knowledge and indirectly change eating patterns so that they can provide optimal nutritional intake. The method and media chosen in conducting nutrition education are one of the important factors to support the success of the program. Booklet media is a nutritional education media that can be used with the advantages of delivering complete material so that it can help the target better understand the material and booklets are easy to carry anywhere. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of nutrition education with booklet media on the knowledge of balanced nutrition messages for young women at MAS Wathoniyah Islamiyah, Kebumen Regency. Methodology: This study was a research and development research methods continued with quasi-experimental design with the type of design one group pretest posttest design. The research sample used was 63 young women. Collecting data by means of media validation tests on material experts, media experts, and targets, pretest and posttest work. Data processing used a different test, namely the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: The results of the material expert validation test obtained an average of 3.96 and a CVI value of 0.95, media experts obtained an average of 4.43 and a CVI value of 1.00 and the test results on the target obtained an average of 4.64 and a CVI value of 1,00. The result of good knowledge category at pretest was 31.75% and good category knowledge at posttest was 92.02%. The results of the difference test on the knowledge variable showed that there was an effect of the intervention (p = 0.000). Conclusion: There was an effect of nutrition education with booklet media on the knowledge of balanced nutrition messages for young women at MAS Wathoniyah Islamiyah, Kebumen Regency.
