Analisis Perbandingan Kinerja Keuangan Antara Bank Umum Konvensional Dan Bank Umum Syariah Dengan Metode RGEC Sebelum Dan Selama Terdampak Covid-19

The purpose of this study is to compare the financial performance of Islamic Banks and Conventional Banks in Indonesia before and during the covid-19 period 2018-2020 with the RGEC (Risk Profile, GCG, Earnings, Capital) method. The number of banks that were sampled in this study were 10 Islamic banks and 10 conventional banks. Sampling using purposive sampling technique with predetermined criteria. The method of data analysis in this study is descriptive analysis to determine the overall performance of the bank and test the hypothesis with an independent sample t test. The results of this study found that the performance of Conventional Banks and Islamic Banks in the period before and during Covid-19 fluctuated. The results of this study also found that conventional banks have better performance in terms of credit risk, and liquidity risk for Islamic banks is better, while in earnings, good corporate governance (GCG), and capital (capital) there is no difference in the performance of Islamic banks and Conventional Banks
