Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Upah Minimum Provinsi-Provinsi Di Pulau Sumatera Tahun 2017 - 2020

The minimum wage is one indicator to improve the welfare of workers, the greater the acceptance of workers, the more their welfare will increase. The purpose of this study is to analyze investment, human index, regional original income, and the GRDP deflator of development against the minimum wage of the provinces on the island of Sumatra during the 2017-2020 period. The data analysis method used in this research is panel data regression. The results of the model selection test prove that the fixed effect model (FEM) was chosen as the best model. The results of the t-analysis show that the human development index has a significant effect on the minimum wage, while investment, local revenue, and the GRDP deflator have no effect on the minimum wage. The F test results prove that the model used exists. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.963360 or 96.33 percent, which means that the variation in the minimum wage variable can be explained by the investment variable, human development index, regional original income, and the GRDP deflator. The remaining 3.67 percent is explained by other independent variables that are not included in the model
