Prototipe Pertanian Pintar Berbasis Internet Of Things (IOT) Pada Tanaman Padi Menggunakan Mikrokontroller Nodemcu

Farmers in Cabeyan village have been using traditional methods in caring for rice plants. Farmers should take care of the regular availability of water of their crops from morning, evening, until night comes. When the harvest season comes, the threat of bird pests makes the time and energy of rice farmers even more drained. Rice farmers need a tool that can facilitate their work to make their work more efficient in time and energy. The author will hereby create a prototype tool to regulate the irrigation of agricultural land, as well as control tools to repel bird pests that can be run through a smartphone connected to the internet. The tool uses a nodeMCU controller and arduino. This tool is expected to facilitate the work of rice farmers in Cabeyan village more effectively and efficiently. By utilizing a wireless network, this tool can regulate and monitor the condition of water entering the fields, as well as arrange tools to repel birds. The nodeMCU microcontroller serves to read the water level of the sensor, as well as being used to adjust the output on the arduino. The process of displaying sensor readings and command execution through the Blynk application that is already connected to the nodeMCU microcontroller. This tool has a water level sensor reading feature that will be displayed on the Blynk application, making it easier for users to monitor water conditions. There are three conditions of the water level sensor, namely dry with magenta color, sufficient with orange color, and excess with green color. The Blynk display also has buttons to adjust irrigation in and out of water that serves to increase and decrease the amount of water, as well as buttons to control the repellent device. Based on testing, this tool can function to monitor the water level sensor and control every existing output such as water irrigation, buzzer, and bird repellent from the closest testing distance of 1 meter to 5 km
