Gambaran Kualitas Hidup Dan Kepatuhan Dalam Berobat Penderita Hipertensi Di Prolanis Di Puskesmas Kartasura

High blood pressure is an increase in systolic and diastolic blood pressure above normal. In patients with hypertension, the quality of life cannot be defined with certainty because it is subjective. Proper preventive and curative measures are needed in tackling quality of life problems. Non-compliance is often a problem in patients with hypertension. The government through BPJS Kesehatan in collaboration with health facilities designed a prolanis program that aims to facilitate health services and a proactive approach to chronic diseases. This study aims to determine the description of the quality of life and compliance in treating hypertension sufferers at Prolanis at the Kartasura Public Health Center. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research sample at 2 Kartasura Health Center was 84 respondents who were members of the prolanis who suffered from hypertension and were taken using the Total Sampling technique. Data collection uses a questionnaire sheet, while data analysis uses central tendency. The data collection technique in this study was by visiting Prolanis activities at the Kartasura Health Center which were carried out every second Thursday of every month. The results of this study obtained a description of the characteristics of respondents aged 66-74 years. Most respondents have high school education as much as 31%. It was found that most of them suffered from hypertension for 4 years as much as 27.4%. The respondent's quality of life is good as much as 66.7% with low medication adherence of 35.7%. Therefore, interventions are needed such as educational counseling about hypertension and the importance of medication adherence in hypertensive patients as an effort to increase knowledge of hypertension sufferers and reduce the risk of damage to other important organs
