Majas Dan Citraan Dalam Antologi Puisi Empat Kumpulan Sajak Karya W.s. Rendra: Kajian Stilistika Dan Relevansinya Dalam Pembelajaran Sastra Di Sma

W.S. Rendra is known to be good at using language in his poems. Several studies related to his poems have been carried out, research on figure of speech and imagery in the poems collected in his poetry anthology Empat Kumpulan Sajak (Four Collections of Poems) has never been carried out. This study aims to describe the use of figure of speech and imagery in the poetry anthology Empat Kumpulan Sajak by W.S. Rendra. This study uses a stylistic approach. The data analyzed in this study is qualitative data in the form of words, phrases, lines or lines, and stanzas which indicate the presence of figure of speech and imagery of poems in poetry anthologies. The analysis technique in this study uses hermeneutic semiotic data analysis techniques. This research shows that the selected poems from the poetry anthology Empat Kumpulan Sajak by W.S. Rendra is dominated by metaphorical figures of speech as well as visual and movement images. This study also shows that the poems of the object of study in this are relevant to literature learning in senior high schools, namely Permendikbud No. 37 of 2018, contained in KD 3.17 which reads to analyze the building blocks of poetry
