Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC) can be regarded as a new direction for liquidchromatography. UPLC improves three areas of Liquid chromatography namely speed, resolution, and sensitivity of analysis by using particle size less than 2 ?m and the system is designed in a special way to withstand high system back-pressures. The separation on UPLC is performed under very high pressures (up to 100 MPa) but it has no negative influence on analytical column or other components of chromatographic system and also decrease of time and solvent consumption compare to HPLC.
