The paper presents a method for the evaluation of telecommunication station parameters by means of electromagnetic field measurements. If exploited with electromagnetic field simulators, it allows a more accurate analysis of the electromagnetic field levels radiated by a plant. Both numerical examples and real-life experiments show that the method is accurate and that it can be usefully applied for electromagnetic field investigations over large geographical areas or sites not physically accessible for measurements
