Ao observamos a linha de 21 cm emitida é possível detectar a escala das oscilações acústicas de bárions. O BINGO é um radiotelescópio que permitirá a análise dessa emissão em baixos redshifts (0.13 < z < 0.48), onde a energia escura tem papel importante.
