Counselling Services for the Bereaved

(in English) Every individual becomes a bereaved person because death is an inevitable part of everyone's life. There are many different feelings and requisites that the bereaved have to deal with. This situation may be more manageable for some individuals than for others for various reasons. These reasons include, for example, insufficient support network, certain personalities of the individual's characteristics and psychological resilience, low information and knowledge about dying, and the practical matters associated with it. One source of support may be a qualified counsellor for the bereaved who works in organisations and services that focus on counselling for the bereaved and where the individual encounters death in their emmediate surroundings. This bachelor thesis aims to gain awareness of counselling for the bereaved and its possible forms. This project describes the reactions to the loss of a love one, the phases of grief and mourning and the factors that influence these reactions. It also deals with the possibilities of support from the counsellor for the bereaved. Interviews with these counsellors provide answers to the most common need of their clients and the ways of support they are offering. The researche revealed positives, but also shortcoming in counselling for the bereaved in...Pozůstalým se jednou stane každá osoba, protože smrt je nevyhnutelnou součástí života každého z nás. S úmrtím se pojí mnoho různých pocitů a náležitostí, se kterými se musí pozůstalá osoba vypořádat. Pro některé jedince může být tato situace z různých důvodů hůře zvladatelná než pro jiné. Mezi tyto důvody patří například nedostatečná podpůrná síť, některé osobnostní vlastnosti jedince a jeho psychická resilience, nízká informovanost a znalost ohledně umírání, a praktických náležitostí s ním spojených. Jedním ze zdrojů podpory může být kvalifikovaný poradce pro pozůstalé, který působí v organizacích a službách, které se zaměřují na pomoc pozůstalým a tam, kde se jedinec setkává se smrtí ve svém blízkém okolí. Cílem této bakalářské práce je seznámí s poradenstvím pro pozůstalé a jeho možnými formami. Práce popisuje reakce na ztrátu blízké osoby, fáze smutku a truchlení a faktory, které tyto reakce ovlivňují. Dále se zabývá možnostmi podpory pozůstalého ze strany poradce pro pozůstalé. Z rozhovorů s osobami pracujícími s pozůstalými vyplývají odpovědi na nejčastěji potřeby jejich klientů a na způsoby podpory, které jim jsou nabízeny.
