The essay aims to analyze the narrative work of Jadelin Mabiala Gangbo, a Congolese author, naturalized Italian, by comparing it with that of an author with an early migratory experience similar to hers, Najat El Hachmi, a naturalized Catalan Moroccan. From the comparison between the themes and the style of the two, we want to highlight some traits connected with the experience of migration during childhood and integration in the host country and from there underline the profoundly testimonial character consubstantial with the work of the authors
