The objective of this study was to find a theoretical limit in the percentage of premium for the purchase of animal replacement, this variable is characterized by the ratio between the price of the purchase and the sale of the arroba in a system. This is a parameter that accompany the exchange relationship, indicating the feasibility in the acquisition of the replacement of animals directed to beef cattle. The project was carried out from market research in which the price of animals of different categories was sought, the prices of the cattle fat, along with the collection of average daily gain data (GMD).
