APLIKASI TERAPI SPIRITUAL EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (SEFT) PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DENGAN GANGGUAN POLA TIDUR

Sleep is one of the physiological needs that have an influence on the quality and balance of life. Lack of sleep will result in decreased sleep quality and increased blood pressure in a person. One therapy to overcome sleep pattern disorders is using SEFT. The purpose of this case study is to apply spiritual emotional freedom technique (SEFT) therapy to hypertensive patients with disturbed sleep patterns. The method used in this case study is observation and interview techniques. Sleep pattern disorders are disturbances that occur in the quality and timing of a person's sleep. SEFT therapy is an emotional therapy that is able to solve physical and psychological problems experienced by a person that focuses on sincerity, submission and gratitude for the situation experienced by a person. A case study conducted for 3 visits was diagnosed with a sleep pattern disorder associated with hypertension. Plans are carried out to examine the problem of sleep disorders, SEFT therapy regulates the patient's environment and explains the importance of adequate sleep. The implementation that is carried out regulates the environment before carrying out the SEFT technique. This technique is done for 15 minutes. The evaluation obtained before taking the action on the sleep quality scale was 7 and after the action the scale was reduced to 5. The results of the case study illustrate that sleep quality improves after SEFT therapy in hypertensive patients, and it can be concluded that SEFT therapy can be applied to patients with sleep pattern disorders
