ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of work stress and dual role conflict on the performance of female employees in the city of Palembang. The population in this study were female employees in the city of Palembang. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling method and obtained 100 respondents. Hypothesis testing with multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that work stress has a negative effect on the performance of female employees in the city of Palembang and dual role conflict has a positive effect on the performance of female employees in the city of Palembang.
