Small-scale fisheries (SSF) support over 90 percent of the 120 million people engaged in capture fisheries globally (FAO, 2020) but are facing multifaceted vulnerabilities due to global change impacts. Despite vulnerabilities, the SSF communities do possess certain strengths that enable them to respond to the vulnerabilities. However, these strengths and capacities are poorly understood.
