In this thesis, the aim is to characterise micro-objects flowing in a microchannel using electrochemical techniques. In order to design and fabricate such a system, several methods and techniques are required. Firstly, the microsystem consists of PDMS microchannels and thin film microelectrodes. Microfabrication techniques such as soft lithography and lift-off electrode deposition will be used in a clean room. The fabricated microchip allows, through a two-phase flow, to generate droplets of dispersed phase (PBS or nitrogen) in a continuous phase (ionic liquid "EMIMTFSI").
