The work carried out in this Ph.D thesis concerns the development, implementation and test of new models aiming at simulating particle deposition and resuspension in turbulent flows, in the framework of stochastic Lagrangian methods. In the first part, a new model to calculate particle deposition is proposed: it is based on a 1D description of the velocity of the flow seen by a particle in the turbulent boundary layer, and explicitly simulates theinteractions between particles and near-wall coherent structures. The model is first validated with fluid particles to check if important statistics concerning the flow are retrieved, and then applied with inertial particles to compute the deposition rate.
