Allergies represent major public health problems of increasing prevalence and for which there is still no efficient long-term therapy. IL-4 and IL-13, and IgE play key roles in allergic reactions, and therefore represent good therapeutic targets. These targets have been clinically validated with approved monoclonal antibodies (mAb). However, use of mAb is limited by high cost and the need to perform repeated injections. Therefore, there is a clear need to improve current strategies in order to reach long term effects.
