This is an oral history interview with historian and journalist Hampton Dunn, in which he discusses the political history of Tampa from the 1930s to the 1960s. He discusses the dominant politicians in Tampa, corruption and power struggles between state and city officials and other parties, and efforts to implement urban renewal of the city. Dunn was the managing editor of the Tampa Daily Times newspaper, and wrote many books and articles about Florida history. His research collection is now housed in the USF Tampa Library\u27s Special Collections area
