Doujin is the term roughly for fanfiction culture in Chinese. In this study, I investigate the cultural significance of young-female-dominated doujin culture in 2020s China\u27s cyberspace. Using ethnographic research methods, this study explores a) doujin fans\u27 online community-building practices, b) doujin as female writing in relation to China\u27s digital feminist discourse, and c) the impact of new media platforms on doujin culture
